I have been a member of the Ford AVO Owners Club since the mid 80's and in that time I have written a few articles for their bi-monthly magazine - HAVOC. These stories have covered my motorsport activities and the odd bit of car preparation. These were mostly done in the form of letters and I hope you enjoy reading them. Article 1 - published in HAVOC in July/August 1989. This tells the story of the build of my present rally car.

Article 2 - published in HAVOC in  January/February 1990. The first half of my 1989 season.

Article 3 - published in HAVOC in Mach/April 1990. A report on my exploits in the latter part of 1989.

Article 4 - published in HAVOC in January/February 1991. An update on our 1990 season.

Article 5 - published in HAVOC in March 1995. What's been happening for the last three years and detailed specifications of my Mexico.

Article 6 - published in HAVOC in August 1996. Our year from August 94 to September 95.

Article 7 - published in HAVOC in June 1997. The end of our 95 season and the first half of the 96 season.

Article 8 - published in HAVOC in October 1997. Details of a few modifications I have had to the Mexico over the years.

Article 9 - published in HAVOC in June 1998. Our year from the summer of 96 into 97 and fitting an Atlas Axle.

Article 10 - published in HAVOC in June 1999. Finishing our 1997 season and going into semi-retirement.

The following series of articles detail the rebuild of my Rally Mexico - JIJ9975. They follow closely the "Rebuild 1,2 & 3" series pages on this site but go into more detail and give more background info, I hope you enjoy reading them. If you originally read these articles in "Havoc" and thought there was the odd bit missing from some of them, well you are right, I blame the printers, but they are published here in their full glory ;-)
